Palo Alto (CA) Weekly Article on Play and Playborhood

The Palo Alto Weekly has done a cover story on kids’ play, and Playborhood is prominently featured. 

I worked closely with PA Weekly reporter Arden Pennell on this story.  In fact, I approached her with the idea about a month ago.  She found lots and lots of parents who agreed with the Playborhood idea that kids should be allowed to play outside in their neighborhoods more, so much so that the sub-headline for the story is, “Parents rebel against over-scheduling kids, call for a return to free play.”
